(May 30, 2023, Washington, DC) — Steptoe & Johnson LLP was honored by the DC Circuit Judicial Conference Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services at the 19th annual "40 at 50" Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Event. The event honors law firms that have provided "outstanding leadership in pro bono service" for residents of Washington, DC. The "40 at 50" requirement states that at least 40% of all attorneys in the DC office dedicate 50 or more hours in 2022 to providing free legal representation to individuals with limited financial resources or to charitable organizations.
