Rockford Victory on Discovery Sanctions

Steptoe attorneys secured a vic­tory after a three-day evidentiary hearing in front of US Magistrate Judge Anderson on the imposition of discovery sanctions against the Panamanian owner of Rockford Corporation’s distributor for South America.  Judge Anderson had already en­tered judgment for Rockford on all of Rockford’s claims and against the distributor on all of its claims for violation of court discovery orders, and after the hearing he en­tered judgment against the owner on Rockford’s alter ego claim for vi­olating court discovery orders.
