Docket Specialist
Immediate opening for a Docket Specialist.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to, maintaining the central litigation docket database.  Perform daily docket functions, including reviewing all relevant pleadings and documents and entering/updating events in the docket database.  Preparation of docket reports for attorneys and legal staff.  Responding to inquiries regarding deadlines and/or supporting authority.  Providing support to legal staff relating to the docketing process or the use docketing software.  Performing legal research of local and federal court rules and training legal staff in using docketing software may be necessary.  Successful candidate must possess a strong knowledge of the litigation process and legal concepts.  Strong technical and database skills a must.   Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines are essential.  Excellent customer service skills.  Experience with CompuLaw is a plus.  Four-year degree with excellent academic credentials required.

Conflicts Assistant
Responsibilities include researching and analyzing corporate structure, entering and editing client/matter records in conflicts database, preparing conflict check reports for attorney review and case-opening, routing business intake documents in electronic and hard copy, communicating with Firm attorneys and staff.  Successful candidate must be a detail-oriented problem solver, be able to meet daily deadlines while maintaining excellent organizational and interpersonal communications skills, and be a willing team player. Administrative experience required, conflicts experience a plus.  Database proficiency and corporate/legal research experience, a plus. The candidate should have at minimum, an undergraduate college degree. Availability to work overtime. Willing to work a flexible schedule including evening hours.

Professional Development Assistant
Responsibilities include primary support to the Professional Development Manager.  Coordinating the completion and submission of firm surveys.  Assisting the diversity and training coordinators as needed.  Providing administrative support to the legal recruiting team.  Bachelor’s Degree, minimum of 2 years of office experience, preferably in a large law firm environment, and proven working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.

Evening/Weekend Legal Admin/Executive Assistant (Part-Time)
Superb opportunity for an experienced professional legal administrative/executive assistant interested in working at a law firm  This position is part-time.  Shift hours are Friday 1:30a – 9:30a; Saturday, 1:00a – 9:00a; and Sunday, 6:00p – 1:00a (21.5 hours total per week).  This position is non-benefits eligible.  Excellent computer skills (i.e., full facility with MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint), outstanding communication skills, superior organizational skills and demonstrated commitment to team work required. 

Financial Analyst
Responsibilities include preparing practice group profitability,  practice group expense and office financial reports on a monthly basis.  Prepare responses to intermittent requests from PGLs. General Finance Department support..  Ability to understand and interpret the firm’s financial statements, perform analysis on financial information and efficiently communicate this analysis results with other members of the finance team, practice group leaders, marketing.  Strong MS Excel skills; experience with MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.  Excellent analytical skills.  Ability to learn new software quickly with little oversight.  Ability to work independently on project oriented tasks under stringent deadlines.  Knowledge of accounting and automated accounting systems preferred but not required.  Experience with MS Query/Sequel preferred.  Experience with Elite, Clarity or similar (Hyperion, Oracle) preferred but not required.  Four year College degree in Finance or Accounting, or a candidate in his/her last semester preparing for college graduation.

Legal Administrative/Executive Assistant

Litigation Support Specialist (Evening)
Assist in the provision of litigation support and electronic discovery services, including the administration and maintenance of litigation support applications and data stores, in support of the firm’s litigation practice.  Responsibilities include tracking and recording all client/matter-billable activities; logging and tracking of incoming and outgoing media and other discovery materials; design and construction of litigation support databases in accordance with department standards, and under the guidance of Litigation Support Project Managers and other senior department personnel; configure databases and related data stores for secure user access; analyze data received from external vendors, opposition parties, and other sources to ensure compliance with specifications, and prepares written documentation of findings and/or exception reports as applicable; upload data to the firm’s network and imports data into litigation support databases in accordance with established standards, and provide routine summary reports of database loads to appropriate department and litigation team personnel; assist litigation teams in the compilation, generation, and quality assurance of document productions; processing of small-scale ESI collections utilizing in-house ESI processing applications, including analysis of process outputs to ensure completeness and to identify and resolve exceptions.  The position requires a sound knowledge of general IT and computing standards, practices, and technologies; proficiency with MS Windows-based operating systems and the MS Office suite; familiarity with MS Windows-based networks, Active Directory, and Citrix; demonstrated proficiency with LexisNexis LAW Pre-Discovery, and familiarity with at least one of the following litigation support applications: Relativity, Concordance/Opticon, Livenote, Casemap/Timemap, Sanction/TrialDirector.  At least 1 year of experience in a law firm systems-based litigation support, user support, or paralegal position is required.  Hours are 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Application Developer
Provides software development services and ongoing maintenance for various business productivity and client-facing applications in accordance with established procedures and standards. Responsible for developing and maintaining the custom .NET applications employed by the firm. Provides third tier technical support and maintenance for applications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineer or equivalent certification from an accredited technical training school or equivalent (4 years) experience in general development. Cold Fusion, IIS, ASP, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, database concepts (SQL queries, ODBC) within a web context, Graphic design and editing (Photoshop). 3-5 years experience in developing and deploying applications using VB/C# .NET,  IIS, Visual Studio 2008 / 2010, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome. Must have a working knowledge of the iterative software development lifecycle, a peer review process, application documentation and version tracking. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks for various projects simultaneously and effectively.

Network Security Engineer
Responsibilities include designing, implementing and supporting secure system architectures in a large law firm environment.  Design and provide expert level guidance in the design across the enterprise of all firewall and network security infrastructure technologies.  Other responsibilities will include being a security centric subject matter expert on the many systems creating a secure and regulated environment.  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.  8+ years of experience networking including network design and troubleshooting.  5+ years of security experience including firewall administration, VPN configuration and IPS/IDS monitoring.  Must be experienced with Networking, Security, Firewalls, Network Traffic Analysis, BGP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TACACS.  CISSP required. CCNP, CCDP or CCIE preferred.

User Support Specialist
Assist users on a variety of skill levels in the use of the firm’s technologies and software. Software applications include, but not limited to, Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, iManage DeskSite/FileSite, Remote communication applications, Cisco phones, and other applications and firm technology as requested. Function as second level support within the service desk to assist with issues before they are escalated to other tier groups.  Daily review work orders in tracking system for quality control measures. When necessary provide follow-up and assistance to other staff members when corrections or adjustments need to be made.  Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent experience will be considered.  A minimum of four years’ experience providing level 2 or 3 end-user support in a medium to large sized networked environment.  Legal network environment experience desired but not required. Experience with network client configuration and connectivity with 3-4 years of experience supporting remote users.  Experience supporting the following is highly desirable; EAS archiving, RSA, Citrix, Mailgate, Postini administration, Active Directory administration. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007/2010 (MOS certification desired but not required), Windows 7 operating system, and document management systems (e.g., iManage DeskSite and FileSite).   Must have excellent organization, written and oral communications skills; as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
