Overview
Jeffrey Weiner represents companies and individuals in general business and securities law matters, mergers and acquisitions, and business financing and technology transactions. His clients include public and private companies, as well as entrepreneurs building businesses in a variety of industries. His work for his clients in the field of mergers and acquisitions has been consistently recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers magazine.
In general business and securities matters, Jeff acts as primary outside counsel for companies, providing general ongoing representation and counsel on day-to-day as well as strategic matters. In merger and acquisition matters, Jeff represents acquiring companies, target companies, investment bankers, special board committees, and investors. In business financing and technology transactions, Jeff represents investors and companies in venture capital and other private equity transactions, as well as in public offerings and technology outsourcing and intellectual property licensing transactions.
Jeff has authored or co-authored several articles on securities law and general business subjects. In addition, he offers insight on mergers and acquisitions to print and online periodicals, including Fast Company. Jeff also teaches legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions in the Mergers and Acquisitions Executive Education Program at UCLA's graduate school of management, The Anderson School.
