Overview
Law360 quoted Pantelis Michalopoulos in a prescient October 22 article titled "3 Open Questions Surrounding FCC Leadership Vacancies."
The article discusses the status of the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) leadership, primarily the frontrunners for nomination as permanent chairperson and commissioner: Jessica Rosenworcel and Gigi Sohn.
Pantelis correctly dismissed speculation that Acting Chair Rosenworcel was viewed as not progressive enough, stating that “…the acting chair does have impeccable progressive credentials." Pantelis also praised Sohn as "an exciting possibility" for Biden's FCC, as "she combines progressiveness and pragmatism. She's Ms. Net Neutrality." The article was published a few days before the President picked Ms. Rosenworcel for the permanent Chairman position and nominated Ms. Sohn as FCC Commissioner.
