Stewart Baker Appears on Bloomberg TV to Discuss Cybersecurity LegislationDecember 20, 2012
Steptoe partner Stewart Baker, a former assistant secretary at the Department of Homeland Security, participated in a panel discussion on Bloomberg TV for a segment titled “Baker, Johnson on Cybersecurity Legislation.” During the discussion, moderated by Bloomberg reporter Eric Engelman, Mr. Baker commented on recent developments in cybersecurity legislation and regulation with Doug Johnson, vice president and senior adviser for risk management policy at the American Bankers Association. Mr. Baker also explained why the legislation failed in Congress and how that would impact the nation’s critical infrastructure and cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The discussion was held on November 29 at the Bloomberg Link’s Enterprise Risk Conference in New York.
