Proposed Changes to RESPA

Sheldon Hochberg's recent article on proposed changes to RESPA (the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act), which appeared as the cover story in Title News, was republished in the ABA's Real Property, Probate and Tax Section's online magazine,  E-DIRT Alert.  The cover note prepared by the Section describes the article as  a "must read" and "an excellent synopsis of the regulations and the diversity of the comments filed with HUD."  The Section also describes the article as "an excellent prelude to the program on RESPA regulations scheduled for the upcoming Spring Symposium."  Sheldon will be speaking on this topic at the ABA Spring Meeting in New York on April 3.
