New Partner William Pecau

Steptoe & Johnson LLP is pleased to welcome William G. Pecau as Partner in the Washington, DC office, where he will continue to expand his intellectual property practice.  Mr. Pecau litigates diverse trademark, false advertising, copyright, and patent cases on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants.  Before joining Steptoe, Mr. Pecau was a partner at one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the US.  Mr. Pecau has litigated several prominent cases, including the high-profile case, Apple Computer v. Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard, concerning Apple's claim of infringement of its Graphical User Interface by Microsoft's Windows and HP's NewWave.
