Steptoe Earns First Place on Top Ten Arbitrations Scorecard

Steptoe and Johnson LLP tops the list of the “Ten Big Awards” in Focus Europe magazine’s 2007 Arbitration Scorecard.  The firm earned the top spot for its representation of Motorola Credit Corporation, Inc., with a $2.13 billion Zurich award in the case of Telsim Mobil Telekomunikasyon Hizmetleri A.S. v. Motorola Credit Corporation, Inc.  The Steptoe team was lead by Steven Davidson, Howard Stahl, and Tom Sprange from the DC and London offices.

The scorecard covered international arbitrations (not limited to Europe) that were active between January 2005 and June 2007.

Steptoe was also ranked among the Top 30 Firms Appearing as Arbitration Counsel in the scorecard.
