US-India Business Council Selects Steptoe to Lead Strategic Trade Initiative

On November 15, 2007, the US-India Business Council (USIBC) announced that it will launch a comprehensive initiative to deepen two-way trade and investment between the United States and India. The USIBC selected the International Trade team from Steptoe & Johnson LLP to guide the effort. 

In announcing the initiative, USIBC President Ron Somers stated, "USIBC's ultimate goal is to unleash market forces supporting free trade and investment in a socially-sustainable manner between the United States and India."
