Darren Abrahams Quoted in Business Insurance on Soil Directives

On November 5, 2007, Darren Abrahams was quoted in a Business Insurance article titled, "Talking Dirty," which focused on recent proposals for soil directives that would prevent and remediate environmental damage with regards to various types of water sources.

According to the article, "The proposed soil directive would be the first of its kind to address soil contamination across the European Union, said Darren Abrahams [...] Though the directive would set up a registry of contaminated site similar to that of the Superfund in the United States to clean up hazardous waste sites, the European Commission legislation would be a 'far less prescriptive approach,' said Mr. Abrahams."
