Prominent Reinsurance Partner joins the London Office

Gavin Coull has joined Steptoe & Johnson’s London office from Reynolds Porter Chamberlain. He joins as a partner in the firm’s Insurance and Reinsurance practice.

Gavin specialises in reinsurance dispute resolution, both treaty and facultative, as well as complex international direct business. He is also regularly instructed in connection with disputes involving fraud. He has extensive experience of both litigation and arbitration, in England as well as overseas (Bermuda and the US amongst others). He regularly advises on coverage issues, and drafts and structures insurance and reinsurance wordings and programmes.

Gavin acts for the London market (Lloyd 's and companies) and international carriers, as well as corporate insureds, across all classes of business.

Steptoe & Johnson has one of the largest Insurance & Reinsurance legal practices in the world, spread across its US and European offices. In London it is recommended by both UK legal directories.
