U.S. Supreme Court Backs Commerce, Says Work Contracts Subject to Dumping Law, International Trade Reporter, Vol. 26

January 27, 2009

United States v. Eurodif, the first antidumping case ever decided by the Supreme Court, was profiled in the International Trade Reporter, U.S. Supreme Court Backs Commerce, Says Work Contracts Subject to Dumping Law.  The Supreme Court accepted Steptoe’s contention that contracts for enriched uranium (where the customer provides unenriched uranium as well as cash) are sales of goods, subject to federal antidumping law, not sales of services.
