Main Justice Quotes Lucinda Low on FCPA

Lucinda Low was quoted in an article titled "'Pirate of Prague' Wins Again" which appeared on February 5 on Main Justice. The article examines Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement surrounding an extradition defeat in a US case against fugitive financier Viktor Kozeny.

Ms. Low is quoted as follows:

“I think there are concerns, particularly with the standards to which multinational companies are being held in regards to what goes on in foreign operations,” says Steptoe & Johnson partner Lucinda Low,  who heads that firm’s FCPA practice. “A lot of companies are spending a lot of money looking at a lot of low-level things. It’s a competition issue, a policy issue.”
