Appellate Victory at the Federal Circuit

Steptoe recently secured an appellate victory at the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of our client Jaroslawicz & Jaros, a New York City law firm.  Jaroslawicz & Jaros appealed an adverse ruling under 28 U.S.C. § 1927 based on that firm’s role in a district court patent infringement case. On June 11, the Federal Circuit reversed the lower court’s ruling as to Jaroslawicz & Jaros in its entirety. The case was briefed and argued before the Federal Circuit by Michael Allan, and the Steptoe team included Richard Willard, Roger Parkhurst, Seth Watkins, Houda Morad, and Saad Gul, all from Steptoe’s Washington office.
