Amadeus sells Vacation.com to Travel Leaders Group

Steptoe assisted Amadeus Americas, Inc. (a subsidiary of Amadeus IT Group) in selling Vacation.com, Inc., the largest consortium of travel agents in the United States, to Travel Leaders Group.  The sale closed on December 31, 2010.  The combined entity represents almost 30% of the travel agents in the United States and Canada.  Amadeus was represented by Scott Katzman, Julie Vinyard, and Stan Smilack. The same team represented Amadeus in its original acquisition of Vacation.com.
