Steptoe Advises Parsons Corporation in Acquisition of SPARTA

(November 18, 2011, Washington, DC) —Parsons Corporation, a technology-driven engineering services firm, has announced that it has completed its acquisition of SPARTA, Inc. and its subsidiaries from Cobham Defense Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Cobham plc.  SPARTA is a provider of advanced systems engineering cyber security, and mission support services to U.S. government agencies.  Steptoe & Johnson LLP advised Parsons on the transaction.
