Jim Searles Speaks at REACH Conference

On December 2-3, 2004, in  Boston,  Jim Searles is speaking at the upcoming Conference on the new European Chemicals Policy: Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH). 

Since the regulation of chemicals in Europe—affecting up to $30 billion of chemical exports to Europe—is under review and will result in ground-breaking changes in the way in which many chemicals will require registration before their manufacture or import into the European Union, REACH seeks to bring together approvals procedures for evaluating new and existing chemicals, as well as actions taken under the marketing and use directives, under one piece of legislation. 

Designed for US companies that export to or operate in the European Union, the program features speakers from the European Commission as well as US and EU industry experts on this developing regulatory program.
