Eric Serron Speaks at DC Bar Panel Discussion on ERISA Litigation

On Thursday, September 17, 2009, Eric Serron will be participating in a panel discussion on ERISA litigation hosted by the Employee Benefits Committee of the Taxation Section of the DC Bar. Along with other panelists, Eric will be providing an overview of recent developments in the “stock drop” cases, i.e., fiduciary claims on behalf of ERISA plan participants based on a significant decline in a company’s stock price. Other topics to be discussed include various aspects of the recent 401(k) plan fee litigation, including how the courts have responded to revenue sharing and the role played by ERISA section 404(c).
