Craig Simpson and Yves Botteman Address Belgian Chemicals Industry on REACH

On September 17, 2009, Craig Simpson and Yves Botteman addressed members of the Chambre Belge du Commerce Chimique on issues relating to regulatory compliance requirements under the EU REACH chemicals legislation. Mr. Simpson discussed practical problems arising from the mandatory cooperation required under REACH for the filing of a joint substance registration dossier and the status of REACH enforcement, while Mr. Botteman covered competition law aspects of data sharing and consortia membership.
