Dr. Anna Gergely to Present at the European Technology Platforms Conference

On May 11–12, the European Commission's Directorate–General Research with the support of the Spanish EU Presidency, is organizing an event that brings together the industrial leaders of European Technology Platforms (ETPs), Member States' Representatives involved in ETPs and National Technology Platforms, Civil Society Organizations and the European Research Commissioner in Brussels.

The Industrial Technologies Directorate has invited Dr. Anna Gergely to present in the session on "practicing open innovation in nanotechnologies" regarding nanotechnology governance issues. The aim of the session is to discuss how to tackle two main problems in getting nanotechnology to the market; innovation and the "SHE" issues (Safety, Health and Environment), including regulations and cross–ETP activities involving other relevant stakeholders.
