Bennett Johnston Chairs Second Advisory Committee Meeting of the MIT Future of the Electric Grid Study

Former United States Senator J. Bennett Johnston will chair the Second Meeting of the Advisory Committee of the MIT Future of the Electric Grid Study on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The meeting will focus on a review of the proposed outline of the Study and a discussion of the draft of Chapter 1, The Electric Grid:  History, Challenges and Opportunities.  Detailed discussions will follow on transmission planning and cost allocation for integration of large-scale renewables, electrification of transportation, and demand response.
