Jim Moorhead and Mike Miller co-hosted Martindale-Hubbell's Counsel to Counsel (C2C) Forum in New York on September 28, 2010. The forum was titled Balancing Strategy, Success, and Risk in a Time of Increased Scrutiny, Economic Uncertainty, and Fast-Paced Change and addressed the following:

• Taking a fresh look at the role of general counsel and its relationship to executives, boards, and beyond
• Examining legal and reputational risk: tools, planning, and processes for effective ongoing enterprise risk management
• Managing the impact of rules, requirements, and proposals: from board makeup and shareholder communications to handling analyses and disclosures, especially relating to compensation
• Mitigating risks across borders: surviving local, national and international regulatory changes, and enforcement trends
• Before crises erupt: demonstrating consistent and effective programs for ethics controls and compliance, audits and reporting, and self-reporting
