Roger Parkhurst Conducts Obviousness Cross-Examination for PLI

On November 7, 2005, at Patent Litigation 2005, Roger Parkhurst will conduct a demonstration of a direct and cross-examination of a technical expert contending for obviousness.

Obviousness retains its position year to year as the most frequently tried invalidity defense against a patent. Usually it is highly dependent on how effectively the defendant's technical expert testifies, as well as the skills of the trial attorneys who must present and attack this witness. This segment will present the mock direct and cross-examination of a technical expert for an infringer asserting an obviousness defense.
