Steptoe regularly assists clients on cutting-edge issues affecting chemical manufacturers and users, providing compliance advice on the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), Chemical Weapons Convention, and Federal Hazardous Substances Act, as well as providing advice regarding the Consumer Product Safety Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Emergency Planning & Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act.  We also address specialty areas for pesticidal products used in connection with food or drugs and medical devices.  Our advice extends to the transportation regulations for our clients’ products.
