John Casciano is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Litigation Department.

Mr. Casciano regularly represents insurers in complex insurance coverage disputes.  In that area, he has litigated issues involving coverage for losses associated with toxic tort, environmental contamination, construction defect, advertising injury, fiduciary liability, and other types of claims under both liability and first-party insurance contracts.

In addition to his insurance coverage experience, he has represented clients in a wide range of civil matters involving professional liability (insurance agents and brokers), toxic tort, environmental contamination, premises liability, and general commercial matters.
