David A. Clark is special counsel in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Litigation Department.  He practices primarily in the areas of insurance coverage, civil litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. 

Mr. Clark has handled civil litigation at all levels of Virginia’s federal and state courts and in the courts of many other states.  He has represented clients in both jury and non-jury trials and in the mediation and arbitration of significant disputes  He draws on this experience to provide the firm’s clients with creative options for attaining their goals, whether through litigation or alternative approaches.
