Caroline Gaudet is a partner in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where she is a member of the Property group.  

Ms. Gaudet  has significant experience in handling commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and documenting the sale and acquisition of office, retail and apartment buildings, hotels, mixed-use properties and undeveloped land, the sale and acquisition  of property by entities that are subject to bankruptcy proceedings, the representation of landlords and tenants in the leasing and subleasing of commercial space, ground leases, bond and traditional financing, construction-related contracts, and the creation and operation of joint ventures. 

Before joining the firm, Ms. Gaudet worked for a real estate developer in Virginia.
