Stuart T. F. Huang is a partner and registered patent attorney with the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Intellectual Property group. His practice includes technology protection concentrating on electronic communication and electrical engineering, but with additional experience in mechanical, biomedical, and chemical inventions. Mr. Huang's legal practice includes all phases of practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office, litigation in Federal Courts, Section 337 proceedings before the US International Trade Commission, counseling on intellectual property acquisition strategy, and intellectual property due diligence.

After receiving his Bachelor of Engineering Science degree from The Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Huang joined the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Group of United Technologies, where he engaged in research and development of microprocessor-based engine controls. Mr. Huang next served as a design engineer at Fairchild Industries Space and Electronics Company, where he designed electronic equipment and systems, including time division multiple access (TDMA) communications equipment, satellite earth station equipment, and avionics equipment.
