Scott M. Mirelson is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Regulatory & Industry Affairs Departments.  Mr. Mirelson’s practice concentrates on complex civil litigation.  Mr. Mirelson also practices before the Surface Transportation Board and assists in a variety of other surface transportation and aviation related matters.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Mirelson worked for the New York office of a Big Four accounting firm.

Mr. Mirelson also served as Steptoe’s Loaned Associate at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia from July 2003 until February 2004, practicing primarily family and landlord-tenant law in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
