Jamie B. Beaber is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the International Department and Intellectual Property group. Mr. Beaber focuses primarily on international trade litigation, including antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, and unfair import actions under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930.

Mr. Beaber has assisted clients in litigating antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before the US Department of Commerce and US International Trade Commission, as well as in appellate litigation arising from these proceedings. In this regard, Mr. Beaber has represented clients in the steel, bearing, uranium, paper, and agricultural industries.

Mr. Beaber has also assisted clients in unfair import investigations under Section 337 before the US International Trade Commission, as well as in related appellate litigation before the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Beaber's practice with respect to Section 337 includes experience in representing clients in investigations concerning both patent and trademark infringement.

Mr. Beaber also provides pro bono representation to clients in connection with political asylum claims before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.
