Kimberly A. Roemer is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where she is a member of the Litigation Department.  Ms. Roemer’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation.

Ms. Roemer went to law school while teaching full time in Harford County, Maryland.  She wrote the county curriculum in government and law, designed and conducted faculty training workshops, and served on the writing team for the Maryland High School Assessment in Government. 

Ms. Roemer graduated Order of the Coif from law school.  While attending law school, Ms. Roemer also published a case note: Drury v. State: Handcuffing the Police While Freeing the Criminal in the Maryland Law Review. 

Ms. Roemer has previously served as a law clerk at the US Department of Justice in the Office of Consumer Litigation.
