Jeff Waldstreicher is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Litigation Department. Mr. Waldstreicher’s practice focuses primarily on white-collar criminal litigation.
Mr. Waldstreicher represents clients in complex criminal matters in both state and federal courts at the pre-trial, and post-trial stages. His experience includes representations involving public corruption, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), accounting and securities fraud, conspiracy, and bribery.
During law school, he externed for the Attorney’s Office for the US Northern District of California, where he prosecuted federal crimes and worked on the Enron Task Force.
Mr. Waldstreicher is committed to pro bono representation. He has represented the Sierra Club in their fight against a destructive highway, and the NAACP in a suit to stop widespread discrimination during an annual gathering of African American motorcycle enthusiasts.
