Roger E. Warin is a nationally recognized professional in insurance and reinsurance coverage litigation and arbitration. For more than 30 years, he has taken the lead in handling major coverage disputes for insurers and reinsurers. He and an experienced and tested team of Steptoe lawyers who work with him have won major victories in coverage disputes involving asbestos bodily injury and building claims, property and business interruption claims, construction defects, environmental pollution, employment discrimination, professional liability, construction and products liability claims, and health and life insurance disputes.

Mr. Warin has also counseled insurers and reinsurers on a wide variety of insurance and reinsurance coverage issues and has assisted them in resolving many disputes and potential disputes through alternative dispute resolution procedures.

Mr. Warin taught Insurance Law at the American University Law School for two years and has served in leadership positions in the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Warin is also a frequent lecturer and speaker and author on insurance and reinsurance issues having made more than 60 presentations in the past five years.
