Andrew J. O’Rourke is an attorney in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Litigation Department. Mr. O’Rourke’s practice focuses primarily on toxic tort litigation.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Mr. O’Rourke was a Senior Attorney with the National Legal Research Group in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was in charge of corporate, commercial, bankruptcy, and tax law matters.
Mr. O’Rourke’s experience also includes serving in the General Counsel's office of a Houston-based chemical and pharmaceutical holding company, where he was the chief legal officer of several of its operating subsidiaries. Additionally, Mr. O’Rourke was an attorney with a leading North Carolina motor vehicle manufacturer, where he was one of the lead attorneys in the establishment of a joint venture with a second prominent motor vehicle manufacturer.
