Alison Wallace is a partner in the London office of Steptoe & Johnson, where she heads the successful Employment practice.

Alison has over 30 years of experience in contentious and non-contentious employment issues, including advising private and public employers on internal policies, procedures and substantial general employment issues including reductions in force; conducting employment tribunal and high court proceedings in respect of terminations and restrictive covenants, discrimination; advising senior employees on a wide range of employment issues, including boardroom disputes, negotiated termination packages and executive remuneration.

Alison advises on employment issues relating to transactional work and business transfers and insolvency issues, as well as related tax and immigration matters. Pensions and benefits, are also within her practice area.

Clients seek her advice on international transactions and where foreign businesses setting up in the UK for HR support.

Alison is a qualified mediator and regularly provides in-house training for clients at the senior level. Alison lectures on a variety of employment topics and is a well regarded specialist.
