Laura Atlee is a member of the Brussels office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP. Her practice focuses on both EU and international law. She is acknowledged by the Legal 500 for her regulatory advice in the environmental field.
Laura has recently advised Asian, European and North American corporate clients and trade associations on:
- trade measures (i.e. anti-dumping and subsidies);
- customs (dual-use and export control);
- intra-EU market access (free movement of goods);
- state aid;
- chemical legislation (REACH); and
- climate change legislation (the EU Emissions Trading Scheme).
While working on international trade issues, she was a guest on CNBC's SquawkBox and contributed to articles published by Bloomberg Press. She continues to publish regularly in various international trade and regulatory periodicals.
