Rhonda M. Bolton is of counsel in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where she is a member of the Government Affairs & Public Policy practice. Ms. Bolton's practice focuses on government relations in the substantive areas of health care, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, and economic development.

Ms. Bolton's practice entails advocacy on behalf of companies and trade associations before Congress, federal agencies, and courts, as well as counseling, and providing strategic policy analysis on a wide range of issues for clients. Additionally, Ms. Bolton has extensive experience advising satellite, telephone, and wireless companies concerning government regulation of telecommunications services, as well as general commercial matters. Ms. Bolton also brings professional insight from her experience in commercial litigation and her prior experience as a legislative staffer.

Before embarking on a legal career, Ms. Bolton worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant to Representative Rick Boucher.
