Houda Morad is a technology specialist in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where she is a member of the Intellectual Property group. Ms. Morad assists with the drafting and prosecuting of patent applications in the pharmaceuticals, chemistry, engineering, and nanotechnology fields.

Ms. Morad also assists with patent infringement litigation, including actions in the federal courts and actions arising under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 before the US International Trade Commission.

Before joining Steptoe, Ms. Morad worked at another law firm in Washington, DC, and as a product research manager at Procter & Gamble in Brussels, Belgium.

Ms. Morad is a 2009 J.D. candidate at George Mason University School of Law. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Engineering from the Ecole Superieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles in Paris, France.
