Geoffrey G. Hengerer is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Litigation Department.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Mr. Hengerer served as a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps. During that time, he served as a criminal defense counsel, a Special Assistant US Attorney, and as an attorney-advisor to the Commander of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. Mr. Hengerer also deployed to Iraq as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for the 2d Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
