Erin S. Vagley is a member of Steptoe’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses primarily on white-collar criminal defense, securities enforcement/private securities litigation, and cartel investigations.
Ms. Vagley has defended individuals and companies against allegations of all manners of business and financial crimes, including securities fraud, accounting fraud, federal antitrust violations, insider trading, and tax offenses, among others. She has also defended individuals and companies in enforcement investigations and litigation brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as in private class action litigation brought under state and federal securities laws. Additionally, Ms. Vagley handles defenses of US and multi-jurisdictional cartel investigations and civil damages suits, as well as criminal investigations by the US Department of Justice's Antitrust Division.
