Alejandro G. Rosenberg is an associate in the New York office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the Litigation Department.

Mr. Rosenberg's practice focuses on all areas of commercial litigation, media law, false advertising, insurance, and on white-collar criminal, regulatory, and internal investigations.

Mr. Rosenberg is an active member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York’s Communications and Media Law Committee and has made presentations on cases of interest.  Mr. Rosenberg is also a member of the Media Law Resource Center's Advertising and Commercial Speech Committee.  He frequently attends various conferences affecting the media and entertainment industry.

Prior to joining Steptoe in March 2010, Mr. Rosenberg represented a major international news organization in a variety of media work involving the First Amendment, the Freedom of Information Act, and news gathering liability.  Mr. Rosenberg was also part of a team that investigated the alleged Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations of a major international corporation.  Mr. Rosenberg has represented a number of pro bono clients, including a large not-for-profit shelter organization in a variety of employment disputes, and multiple criminal defendants in federal court.
