Henry Cao is an associate in the Beijing office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where he is a member of the International and Business Solutions Departments.
Mr. Cao assists foreign and domestic clients on a variety of international trade matters. He has assisted in advising clients regarding US antidumping and countervailing duty investigations before the US International Trade Commission and the US Department of Commerce. Recently, Mr. Cao was involved in the antidumping and countervailing investigations of washing machines from South Korea.
Mr. Cao has experience advising multinational corporations, privately held entities, and investment funds on China-related business and investment matters. He assists clients with China market entry, mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments in various industry sectors, including manufacturing, telecommunications, insurance, legal and entertainment.
Mr. Cao also advises international financial institutions, including insurance and reinsurance companies, on their China market entry and compliance with Chinese laws and regulations.
Mr. Cao earned his LL.B. degree from Shanghai International Studies University and his J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mr. Cao is admitted in the State of New York, the State of Wisconsin and the People’s Republic of China.
