Rachel S. Tennis is an associate in the Washington office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, where she is a member of the Regulatory & Industry Affairs and Litigation Departments.  Ms. Tennis's practice focuses on environmental regulation and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Steptoe, Ms. Tennis worked as a legal intern in the US Attorney’s Office, District of Connecticut.  She also served as a law clerk in the US Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division, Environmental Crimes Section.
