International Law Advisory - BIS Publishes Federal Register Notice re New Libya License Exception

Further to our advisory yesterday, the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (“BIS”) this morning published its interim rule in the Federal Register regarding the new “U.S. Persons in Libya” (“USPL”) License Exception.  The official copy of the rule, which was published at 70 Fed.
