European block exemption plan worries insurance industry

Guy Soussan and Yves Botteman have commented for Business Insurance on proposals to renew parts of the Block Exemption Regulation (BER). The EC is holding a consultation period on its proposal until November 30, after which it will develop a final regulation to replace the Exemption that expires in March 2010.
