Global Anti-Corruption Standard and Enforcement: Implications for Energy Companies
June 23, 2010Steptoe have teamed up with Milos Barutciski of Canadian firm Bennett Jones to author a chapter for The Journal of World Energy Law & Business on the implications for energy companies of global anti-corruption standard and enforcement. The chapter addresses the history and development of international anti-corruption standards and then focuses on the national anti-corruption laws of three jurisdictions where many international oil and gas companies are headquartered: namely the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
