Exempt Organizations Advisory - IRS Releases Information on Changes to Form 990 for 2009

The IRS released a summary of the significant changes that it has made to the Form 990 and Instructions for 2009. Most of the changes provide more extensive explanations and clarifications for certain items, and many are based on questions that had been raised by filers and return preparers. The 2009 Form also includes additional questions on executive compensation, consolidated financial statements, and fundraising expenses.
