Danyal Arnold helps clients navigate complex international trade and investment issues. Danyal focuses on a variety of international trade matters, including the impact and implications of Brexit, EU trade remedy proceedings, and disputes arising under the agreements of the World Trade Organization. He works closely with the international trade teams in DC and Brussels.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Danyal worked as an Advisor to the Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and in the Policy Unit at the UK Labour Party on domestic economic issues and international trade.
Danyal has worked at a global law firm in the litigation and arbitration department on number of matters with international dimensions, including a large international arbitration and product regulatory matters.
Danyal is also a trained economist and has taught undergraduate economics as an Associate Tutor at the faculty of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics at Birkbeck, University of London.
