Overview
Mark Murphy contributes to a variety of complex commercial litigation teams. Mark has represented clients in a wide range of business disputes in both federal and state court. He is experienced in motions practice, legal and factual development, document management, and depositions. He has considerable experience in cases involving application of complex federal statutes as well as voluminous documentary records.
Mark is actively involved in Steptoe's pro bono program. He recently participated in a major settlement of federal class action litigation under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act concerning a state's funding of special education. He has also represented clients before the United States Immigration Court, Social Security Administration, and District of Columbia Family Court.
